This unit focuses on the differing uses of the present tense. First, it discusses the present simple and explains how to form a sentence using this tense as well as the instances that it is used. Next, it discusses the present continuous which is also known as the present continuous and differs from the present simple by the use of the verb "be" rather than "do". The chapter proceeds to discuss the present simple which uses the verb "have" and is used to relate the past to the present. Lastly, the present perfect continuous is discussed where "been" is used in addition to the verb "have" in order to relate past experiences to the present.
