This lesson taught me about the five kinds of beginners students and how to properly address each. I learned how to adapt my teaching to fit a classroom of children, a single individual, Business English students, multilingual, monolingual students. I now understand that children may have less motivation than adults to learn English, but they pick up easier than their counterpart. There are advantages and disadvantages to teaching a single individual, but it is possible for the advantages to win. Business English students have different needs and it is important to be able to address them.
