Teaching beginners requires the teacher to be aware of students needs and to be as visual as possible. It helps to use pair and group work, revise constantly, and to be encouraging to the students. Homework is important for beginning students. Teaching individual students is good for teachers because usually the student is highly motivated and there aren't varied skill levels to compensate for in lesson planning. Teaching children requires a lot of repetition and higher pitched exaggerated intonation. It requires the teacher to have a fast-paced lesson plan along with interesting enough activities to entertain children. Teaching Business English doesn't require the teacher to actually know the complete ins and outs of the client's business. However, the teacher needs to be able to adapt to specific vocabulary based off of what the client is looking to learn.
