i could definitely notice the effects of different teaching styles had on the students participation and understanding, how the teacher came into the class setup differently had a major impact on the students, it makes it more clear now why there is an engage phase first, you cant just go into a lesson and start teaching, you will confuse all the students from the beginning and give them self doubt and hostility towards participating, i also noticed in the first lesson the teacher was getting frustrated which does not help the class atmosphere that is already happening, i also found the first lesson was very boring and i would of lost interest if i was in that class. it definitely helps with understanding what to do and not to do in a class, yes each class and students will be different but in general these two lesson show a major impact on the teachers attitude coming in, and the importance of being prepared of the students will react and participate.
