In this unit I learned about lesson planning. Learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems (and a solution to deal with them), procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time, and teacher’s or observer’s names should all be included in a lesson plan. Making lesson plans are important to stay organized and on task, as well as forcing you to think through your plan ahead of time so you are not coming to your class to just wing it. It does not make your plans set in stone and is flexible to change around throughout a class. I learned that you should keep an accurate record so if you do change things around it is good to make note of that.
