I found this unit challenging, because planning out a class so thoroughly isn’t my favorite part of being a teacher. The reasons why you should use a planner were enough to convince me -especially the third one of using your planner as a way to keep record in case of dissatisfied customers. The video mentions 3 steps for Study activities: D-emonstrate, E-licit, GO-give out material. These steps -especially the first one of demonstrating, is crucial for a smooth study activity, and something I hadn’t been doing much with my students… up until yesterday! Today, and in all future classes, I’ll be sure to remember DEGO.
