This unit talks about past tenses. Here are the four past tenses seen in this unit:
The past simple tense: it is used to express a completed action in the past. It could also be used on resume or CV.
The past continuous ; it is a past tense which is used to express an action in progress at a particular time in the past.
The past perfect is used to talk about a past action and a related past action before that. Those two past actions are related together.
The last past tense is the past perfect continuous. This tense express two actions in the past and one of those action has been continuing at another point in the past.
