I feel that this section is vey complicated to a native speaker as it includes things we never think about. However, it is structured in a way that foreign language learners may remember more easily. I learned the four different tenses for "present" and their general uses. It is not in any way concrete in my mind or reflex yet, but I look forward to analyzing other examples for practice, so I can better explain to my students.
