I already had a good working knowledge of grammar, but this unit solidified and put into words concepts that I had learned at a young age from being surrounded by English. The sections dealing with the rules of ordering adjectives, adverbs, etc was particularly helpful because it gave concrete rules for rules that I had always just done by "feel." Overall, this unit was a good review of all the parts of speech, and I know that it will strengthen my teaching abilities.
