In Unit 19, teaching specific groups are examined and discussed. Being a teacher, it is important to be able to read and analyze your students in order to be able to provide the most efficient teaching possible to ensure student comprehension. Doing so will create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn and experiment with the language, while the teacher will feel confident in their lesson and be able to properly display their knowledge to the students. Teaching beginner students will be much different than teaching experienced students. Even within beginner students, the age component will play a role in how the teacher creates their lessons and teaches the students. Teachers may experience teaching students with different motives, such as business student or industry specific classes. Similarly, teaches will need to tailor their teaching style and habits to conform the audience of the classroom.
