This unit, following the last one, focuses on the productive skills, speaking and writing (the most neglected TEFL world skill). I learned the difference between accuracy and fluency activities. This unit also went thru the speaking activities in the classroom (controlled and guided activities, creative communication) and also techniques to encourage interaction. I also guidelines for a free / creative speaking activity (before, during and after the lesson). In regard to writing skills, I learned that a TEFL should encourage students to improve their handwriting, spelling, layout, and punctuation.
