From lesson 3 I have learned that there is very many things that go into the structure of a class. Having a well structured class and a even hand of correction and praise are the signs of a skilled teacher. I have learned that students need a sufficient level of stimulation to prime themselves to learn in the engage phase. Students also need to be able to figure things out for themselves and develop self-directed learning and critical thinking skills in the study and activate phase. Because everyone learns at a different pace and each have a unique style of learning that works best for them, I believe that it is important to survey the class and develop a healthy rapport with all the students to be an effective teacher.
