This unit covered the different parts of speech- nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, gerund, pronouns, prepositions and conjunctions, most of which I already knew being a native speaker. However the most useful part of the unit for me was reviewing the common mistakes made by students such as with personal pronouns and personal adjectives like my and mine. This will be particularly useful to me when teaching. I have also noticed my students make errors with indefinite articles as well as countable and uncountable nouns. I plan to adjust my teaching method using some of the tips presented in this unit.
