This unit covered the importance of structure within a lesson. It talked about how the engage portion of the lesson should always come first and we a time where students warm up and get comfortable within the classroom. They should be encouraged to speak in English only but they should be playing games or role-playing. The Activate stage must always come at the end of the lesson. This is where students put the newly acquired language together with previously known language. Between these two sections there must be a Study section. This is where students learn new skills and language. You man have more engange, activate, and study sections but they must be capped by Engage in the front and Activate at the end.
