I once was asked to create lesson plans for a poetry unit, as a freshman in undergrad. I had no idea what to do. I enjoy that this chapter highlights what is ultimately most important in a lesson plan, but it also recognizes that individual teachers have their own methods that work. I don't think I will ever have particularly detailed plans, they will more be a record of unit corrections on what NOT to do the next year.
