In this unit i have learnt what makes a good teacher: loving to teach, being kind and patient, having good rapport and interaction with the class, knowing students' weaknesses and helping them to overcome their difficulties in learning. Teacher plays many roles in the classroom: manager, controller, organiser, prompter, assessor, tutor, model. A good learner is willing to listen to the language, willing to ask questions, accepts mistakes and corrections. Motivation is important, different students have different motivations for their different purposes of learning the language.
