In Unit 9, I learnt a lot of useful methods to make my lessons unique to my teaching style. I found the section on what to include in a lesson plan quite adaptable. As long as all of those items are included into the lesson plan, there a lot of different ways in which I can personalize them to benefit me and the class together. For example, I can bring teaching aids that I feel would be the most beneficial to the student's learning process. And if I discover that the materials weren't as helpful as I thought they would be, I can reflect on this during my self-eval to prepare for the next lesson. I also really enjoyed this lesson because it gave me more of an insight of how lesson plans are actually developed and put into action. Seeing both sides as a student and potential teacher will greatly aid me in teaching my students because I will have a connection with them and more of an idea of their needs.
