I felt that Unit 6 was easier to grasp given the patterns from the present tense unit. With these patterns in mind, I was able to figure out what the forms of the past tenses would be and it made understanding the usages easier as well. Although I find irregular verbs quite automatic in my vocabulary, since there is no set guideline to forming these, I can see how a student may struggle with learning them. However, I think constant repetition and flashcards would be a perfect way for the students to get used to seeing and using these verbs more often.
