Unit 4 covered the grammatical rules of the present tense and its four versions - present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. When teaching tenses to a class, it is important to predict the mistakes and errors that could occur during a lesson and be ready to correct them when they come up. Just as in previous lessons, it is important to correct in a manner that encourages the student to recognize the mistake and understand the reason for the correction. This is especially important with this unit, because grammar rules are not always the easiest to follow and sometimes have odd exceptions to the rule.
