Unit 9 mainly illustrates the importance of lesson planning and how a productive and successful lesson plan should be made.
To start with, first paragraph of the unit has explained the important reasons for making lesson planning and some basic principles that need to be followed, in order to make a good lesson planning. Then it elaborates on how to organize a lesson planning by making sure the classes go smoothly. However,I believe the most focus of this unit is to emphasize the content of a good lesson plan that it should cover and I personally find this part to be very beneficially,especially when I find myself to be quite new in teaching.
So after reading the standard lesson plan format that has been given, I won't be feeling miserable about making lesson plan anymore. Now I am fully aware of how a lesson plan should be made and even how a self evaluation form can be made to evaluate the quality of my teachings for my further development and improvement.
Besides, I have also learnt how to plan a sequence of lessons and some special issues that need to be considered.
