This chapter has been an extremely useful section on how to establish lesson plans, but more importantly what each segment of a lesson plans function is and why it helps the students. We learnt about Engage - Study -Activate, which are the three main theoretical frameworks for a lesson and how/why they are structured the way they are.
I found a lot of use in the ESA segment that outlined different lesson structures, like the Boomerang or Patchwork as I had never thought of teaching as having a necessary structure.
