In this unit I learned about teaching special groups. Some of these specials groups are individual students,children and English for specific purposes. Individual student lessons have advantages like no mixed levels and higher motivated individuals but also individual lessons have disadvantages like not able to teach using group activities. Teaching children can be the most rewarding of all students classes, but it can be tricky. It is always advised to keep the class fun as kids lose interest very rapidly. Lastly teaching English for specific purpose, which is just a formal way of saying teaching English to professional people. This is the teaching of general English to students who need English in an English business environment.
