The unit explains how important is to have a feedback of the vocabulary we are going to see when reading for a better understanding but also how important is to have a cultural background of what we are reading to have a right comprehension of the text. It also explains that we have different motives for reading (for a purpose and for entertainment). Besides it explains how important the comprehension activities are in a class, saying that’s it is not just read the text and answers few questions. We have to make sure that the student catches the idea of what they are reading and understand difficult words. When introducing a new text it is also important to know what title to choose to engage the students and that way they will be interesting in what they are about to read making the class successful, and the students will keep focus in what they are reading. The unit also explains how to compare when answering question using more than/ than/ less than, and as ---- as. Besides, it also show an example of a paragraph and worksheets with questions to practice reading and comprehension skills in the classroom.
