In this unit I studied the importance of the receptive skills, which are the reading and the listening. About these skills, I learned significant aspects that I have to consider when teaching a lesson and including a text or dialogues. Such aspects are the topic, the content of the text (if it is interesting or not) and the tasks given about the reading or listening. If a text or dialogue is interesting for the students, they will show more enthusiasm and motivation towards the reading or listening. It is very important to notice that the four skills are important in a lesson and teachers should be capable of including the four of them in each lesson - if possible.
