This Unit covered the topics of conditional sentences and reported speech in english, as well as methods to teach it. I found the content very helpful as i have previously found conditionals a difficult subject to understand due to there being quite a few (5) and some seemingly often having very similar meanings (third conditional and mixed conditional). The separation of these by grammatical form was very helpful, and allowed me to grasp them much better. The unit also covered a good variety of activities that I like the sound of, and I look forward to using them in class.
Reported speech similarly was a bit of a struggle for me to grasp previously, and though I didn't find this units lay out of the content very easy to understand or clearly described. after nutting through it it has given me the ability to identify the fundamental underlying grammar, though I still find it a bit of a challenge. More practice content would be nice for this section and I may find some when I finish this course.
