This unit dealt explained how to use a course book in the class room and what a teaher can do to supplement the course book using other resources such as, authentic and creative materials.
I learned that a course book is helpful because it offers a basic outline to present the class but other materials should be used to supplement the course book so the class is more engaging for the students. Such as magazines, songs videos, crossword puzzles and role-play card.
I also learned how to set-up a boomerang style ESA lesson using creative materials to help the students digest the material properly.
