This unit went over in detail how and why a "good teacher" will most likely have "good students". What did I learn from it? I learned how to properly describe the role of a teacher each time his/her function changes. When a teacher steps down from the podium/front of the classroom and participates in a role-play, he/she has then shifted from the manager role, to participant role. I also learned that students have more responsibilities than I had previously acknowledged; such as dealing with a loss of face and overcoming nervousness. This unit did a great job detailing both the teachers and learners contributions, roles, qualities, and responsibilities.
