The teacher in the first lesson made many errors. The students were uncomfortable. He didn't give them a clear understanding of the language point he was teaching. They had to come up with examples on their own. In the second lesson, the teacher clearly stated the two concepts he was trying to teach, can/can't and have to/don't have to. He already had sentences with blanks written on the board. In the first lesson the teacher made many errors. He said several rude comments, such as "Nobody got me, You took the wrong one, are you special?" He drank water in class and checked his cell phone. At the end of the class he said sarcastically, "Thank you very much. That's life. Some loose, some win. Bye now." The students in the first class were well behaved and tried their best to learn the new language. The teacher's attitude has to be professional, confident and well organized. It's very important to respect the students willingness to learn a new language. Their attempts should be praised and encouraged.
