How to manage a classroom is very important for the teacher to know. Eye contact, gestures and the use of voice , are all important for the teacher to use. This unit also taught the importance of being aware of how the students get along with each other. This is especially important to know when assigning seats, and pairing students in groups for certain activities. When building rapport, its important to look like I enjoy the job and to be positive. The attitude of the teacher can encourage and influence the rest of the class. Showing personal interest in the students is also important. Good rapport in the classroom, between the students and the teacher is important in determining whether the class setting is enjoyable and the student succeed.
