This unit went over the most common EFL teaching methodologies, mistakes, and how to give constructive feedback to students. I learned that I had a natural tendency to use three methodologies, among others, when in the classroom: ESA, The Silent Way, and PPP. I also learned how to always make sure that I end with an "Activate" activity when using the ESA methodology. In the past, sometimes I focused too heavily on the study stage of class, and did not properly ensure that students had enough time to do an Activate activity before the end of class. Also, I did more research on how the The Silent Way is taught, and after reviewing classes, I learned that there are physical visuals (Cuisenaire rods) that can be used to enhance the approach.
