Managing a classroom is a delicate balance or discipline and creating good rapport with the students. The teacher will want to encourage active and group learning behavior while expecting (and giving) a level of respect and discipline. The methods best used are creating good seating arrangements, monitoring students' progress and adjusting things as need be, creating a fun environment that encourages students to communicate in English, limiting teacher talk time and maximizing student talk time, and being prepared to give discipline in order to keep the peace. If students feel comfortable in their environment and with the teacher, they are more likely to try and learn through the activities and communicating with each other and the teacher.
