From this unit, I learnt how to teach new language from 3 aspects which are teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions.Teaching vocabulary is very important for the students, especially at the early stage when students are motivated to learn the basic wrods they need to get by in the language. For grammatical structures, the students will need to know what the language means, how it used, what the grammatical form is and how it is said or written. For language functions, it includes the appropriacy of the language in terms of the kind of language we use. Besides, I also learnt the actual application for "straight arrow" ESA approach, "boomerange" ESA approach as well as "pactchwork" ESA approach during these 3 different teaching lessons.
