The presented topic in this unit taught me that proper management of classroom is necessary to avoid lost time in teaching. I was surprised that proper grouping and sitting arrangement of the students is necessary to control the flow of the lesson and it minimizes unnecessary movements of the teacher that could waste time. It made me realized that I had lost much time in teaching because of not knowing this technique. I have also learned that writing on a whiteboard while giving lecture could also waste time that could use other activities. Furthermore, techniques like using gestures and mimes caught my attention for I am in difficulty on how I can make the students talk more without letting them copy what would say. I think this technique is a perfect way to lessen my talking time but lengthening the speaking time of the students. Moving on, I would say that I have learned a lot from this unit, that I could not detail everything and explained how it could be useful in my teaching. However, to be able to achieve proper classroom management; I must be respectable first as every student expect so that they follow my instruction. Therefore, it might be easier for me to manage the students and the classroom as a whole, in the future.
