I found this unit to be very educational for me. Even though I studied English teaching it was my first time hearing about the ESA method for teaching. This method made sense and showed me a new way for planing my lessons. The rest of the methods felt like a revision for me, but the explanation made it easy to understand and read through.
The different ways that the ESA method can be used namely: Straight-arrow,Boomerang, and Patchwork also showed me different ways that I can present my lessons to the different levels that I have to teach. For my higher level students I would definitely use a Patchwork, because it will keep them focused in stead of them running through the work because it's to easy for them.
