Detailed lesson planning is important to new teachers to give them a guide to conduct a lesson smoothly and be able to improve their teaching skills and methods in the future. Lesson plans should ideally include learner objectives, personal aims (teacher aims), language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing interaction, class level, number of students, date / time, teacher and organizer's name. Teachers should remember to not be too rigid to the lesson plan and to adapt when need be.
