In this unit, I have learned that teaching vocabulary helps the student to be able to comprehend better. A rich vocabulary improves students' ability to communicate.If the student is rich in vocabulary words the easier for him to understand grammar instruction in the process of learning a second language. Teaching vocabulary and grammar functions are not an easy topic but to make it easier we need to use the ESA teaching model. In order to teach students, teachers must have the attention of students and involve them emotionally. We must focus on the language and how it is constructed. New information or the revision of previously learn can be included during studying. We must apply humor in teaching to make it more active and engaging.
