This lesson has introduced conditionals and reported speech. I think they are the most confusing grammar points for students due to the number of changes that are made with verb tenses, patterns, pronouns, questions, time expressions and so on. For conditionals, the second conditional is the most confusing part for students. Consider the problems that may arise from past tense being used in the second conditional when it refers to the future. And for reported speech, we not only need to change the verbs forms, but also change to time and physical position. For example, this and here to that and there;today to that day;yesterday to the day before;tomorrow to the next day.
