I learnt about the different roles of a teacher that I didn't necessarily know before. This was helpful to me to monitor myself in my own lessons when I was acting as a certain role.
I learnt that there are different levels with students as well, and can evaluate the students into those categories, having this knowledge can help you categorize them and help them better.
I learnt that there are certain things that both a teacher and student need to uphold in order to get maximum teaching and learning enjoyment from them.
I also learnt that there was some big differences between adults and teenagers and children that were not so obvious -- for example that teenagers are more open to experimenting in class and are more forgiving in the classroom whereas adults are more rigid which I have seen in my own classes. That was a good lesson to learn in text as I will now be more aware of that in the classroom.
I also learnt to be aware of nervousness and that patience and other core things that a teacher needs to be, so will try to uphold all of these things in my lessons and in my future as a teacher.
