In this unit, I saw the importance of the productive skills which are the speaking and the writing. In my opinion, they are more difficult for the students than the receptive skills, because students - usually beginners - feel insecure about their English. For this reason, understanding the different aspects of speaking and writing will give me useful tools to apply when doing a communicative activity. The students have to feel the need of communicating in order to have an effective class and ensure the participation of them. The information and techniques this unit showed will definitely be very useful to encourage students to use and practice these skills.
