I learned that there are different opinions concerning whether or not lesson planning is a good idea. I also learned some of the reasons why lesson planning can be a benefit. I think one of the greatest uses of lesson plans is their ability to record keep so that teachers can track the progress of a class. Unit five also highlighted that noting changes made to a lesson, during the lesson, should be noted/written down so that future lessons could possibly be modified. This unit also made a great suggestion to try to anticipate problems and potential solutions to the problems that may occur during a class. Lastly this unit made me review the phases of lessons so that I have a clear understanding of each phase and what specific material is used during the phase.
