Unit 8 covered different aspects regarding the future tenses. There are seven most common forms that can be used to talk about future actions. Four of these forms use “will” before the infinite to indicate future events. They are known as future simple, continuous, perfect and future perfect continuous. On the other hand, the structure using “to be” plus “going to” plus ”infinite” is referred to the future too. Additionally, the present simple and continuous can be used to suggest a time table, a schedule or arrangements of actions in the future. I consider future tenses a complex topic that all teachers have to understand very well. The most important goal that we have as a teacher is to find a simple way to explain this material to the students.
