This unit is about the aspects teachers have to consider to make sure their teaching is successful.
Teachers have the responsibility of managing the classroom to make it conducive to students’ learning. To do so, they have to create an atmosphere that is relaxed but controlled; creating a relationship of mutual respect with students. How we create this relationship depends on the way we approach the class to establish rapport; using voice, eye contact, gestures, etc. But managing the classroom has also to do with such things as classroom arrangement, discipline, student correction, activation of class participation and many more. I think classroom management is a complex endeavor that requires effort, patience and experience to achieve.
