In this section I learned techniques to manage a classroom. I learned that eye contact, gestures, and the voice you use while teaching are vital. They can change the interaction with your students and the atmosphere in the classroom. I also learned the advantages and disadvantages with group work and individual work. When I become a teacher, I think I will do a variety of different activities so the students continue to be engaged and can build relationships with other peers. I also learned about the importance of classroom arrangement. If I had my choice, I would use circle and horseshoes arrangement. I believe it is the most beneficial because everyone is equal. I had this arrangement in some my classes in my University and loved it! Lastly, I learned how to give individual attention to students and how to keep control of the class and maintain discipline.
