This unit covers the different types of present tenses; present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. The unit describes the form each of these tenses takes and when they are used in a sentense. This unit also decribes common mistakes that students can make when forming setences with the present tense and where the confusion comes about. In this unit I learnt the difference between the present continuous tense and the present perfect continuous tense. I have also learnt some interesting activities to give students in the activate stage of a lesson.
