receptive skills includes reading and listening
they are as important as each other. listening makes more problems than reading for learners because it has a flow of information, a special speed and accent. each of these can make problems for listener and they can not go back to the information they need. but with reading these problems have been solved but still has its own problems. its problems are with the language, tasks done after reading, learner interests and topics. there are some suggestions for each of these. they are pre-teaching vital vocabulary, careful selection of materials, selecting various texts, engaging the learners before doing the tasks, etc.
