I think I have finally grasped the the grammatical rules for understanding and explaing the different tenses of the future, and how to teach them to my students. Perhaps this lesson was less confusing than the previous ones, or maybe I was just more in touch with the message, remembering the previous ones and "connecting the dots"...the rles just "clicked" because if one memorizes the way each tense is formed (adding "ing" or "ed" at the end of the verb, etc) then it becomes an automatic response to forming the sentences with the correct tenses. Hopefully, I can convey this idea to my students in teaching it, as well!
