What should be included in a lesson plan?
Some general information about the class, learner objectives, teacher aims, anticipated problems for the students and teacher, procedure, phase, timing and interaction.
I have many years of experience working as a preschool teacher and I really think it's very important to have a lesson plan, because in that way we know what to do and how, we also know the procedure of our classes, Engage, Study (demonstration, elicit and go), and Activate.
I agree completely that lesson planning has to be flexible, and open to adaptation, we have to make sure that the activities fit together to give the lesson a smooth flow.
It's important to know the correction process, self correction, peer correction and teacher correction.
