I found this unit the most difficult out of all the units thus far. The science behind the phonology of English is interesting but it will require teachers to constantly practise this skill as it will take some time to read phonetic script from memory. Even though phonology is a difficult language point to teach it does make you a little more self aware of how sounds are produced, and if the teachers is aware of their own pronunciation they will be more effective when helping other students.
