This unit on lesson planning has been the application of previous lessons. It is necessary to prepare for success of student learning and other teacher's use if needed on one's absence. It is practical to state the learning objective, what we expect the students to be able to perform at the end. A personal plan of what the teacher wants to achieve, is less predictable at this point of beginning teaching experience.
The procedure for the lesson has been most valuable, in increasing the considerations of actual classroom learning. For example, the Engaging stage of the lesson is important to awaken the students' pre-knowledge of language, lessen the anxiety level, and demonstrate the grammar. The study stage is crucial for practicing the grammar, its usage in context, and speaking correctly. In this stage, the teacher can monitor student work, and determine if one should re-teach or reinforce learning objective.
One must consider using variety of skills to advance the listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the activities. The activate stage will develop these skills in the students, especially in speaking, and writing of the grammar.
The practice of filling out the lesson plans filled this unit with practical application of the previous lessons. I typed them up on pdf format expecting that it would be presented in the unit reflection.
