Planning a sequence of lessons is more or less the same as planning for a single lesson, but there are a number of special issues to consider:
-Flexibility: must be flexible in our approach and not just stick blindly to our planning.
-Goals: Build these into the lessons in order to give teacher and students something to aim for
-Revision: lesson content needs to be continually reviewed over a sequence of lessons.
-Variety and Balance: must include all skills and provide equal treatment, also want to incorporate a good variety and mix of activities.
Always document and keep tabs on goals (learning outcomes).
Keep Lesson plans clear, simple, and flexible.
Lesson plans should include learner objectives, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction (t-s), class level, # of students, date and time.
